But this post does remind me of something I've been thinking a lot about. Mainly about how we are shaped by the places we grow up...the things we take for granted and our frame of reference for looking at life. And how the things that I took for granted growing up in the South are TOTALLY different from the things Sean will take for granted growing up in Albuquerque. From food, to geography, to weather, the kinds of people he interacts with.
